We print with a Riso MF9350 digital duplicator, which is a great machine capable of producing beautiful prints at a fast pace and with limited costs, especially at high print runs. The Riso MF9350 uses very little energy, and has a limited impact on the environment. We can print A3 posters, flyers, fanzines, business cards, books, album covers, you name it!
Risograph printing uses a unique palette of spot colours and inks made of an oil obtained from rice bran, a byproduct of industrial food production. As the colours do not follow the CMYK scheme, images printed with Riso will always look a bit odd. This non standard quality allows for a greater freedom when choosing how to render an image. Just like silkscreen printing, it is possible to overprint colours and obtain different gradients with Riso, thus increasing possible combinations. By clicking on the colours on the list, you can find the closest colour equivalents for your digital work.
While we offer various forms of hand binding at present, we will have some binding machines soon which will speed up some processes and broaden our binding services. Check this website for updates!
“Risograph” is a cost-efficient, environmentally friendly printing technique. We can print up to 2 colours at the same time. Check the How we work section for more detailed information.
